Blake had a Jazz concert the other night at Memorial Park Middle School. It was amazing! I am always surprised to hear how good they are. This is the beginning Jazz band at his school. It's called the Anyday but Friday. His band director is nationally acclaimed for her work and has been featured in many magazines. I really didn't give him much of a choice as to whether he would be in Jazz band or not. What a great opportunity to learn from the best. Luckily he enjoys it and we reap the rewards of great concerts.
